No, this is not required, it is totally up to you, you only enter this information if you really want to demonstrate your skills and abilities on a pro bono basis.

Give Back Get Hired also contains a Classified Ad Section, if you have a business or skill that you wish to advertise you can place an ad here: http://givebackgethired.com/providers/register.php

Give Back Get Hired also offers a Projects module. Projects are work that needs to get done, where you can bid on projects and if you are the winning or lowest bid, then you are awarded the project.

Do I have to enter the links to my social networking sites?

No, this is totally up to you. Employers today are able to do searches on the web and gain information about you very easily. Entering the links to your social sites is letting them know about you ahead of time. You can choose to keep your URL links anonymous, only when you grant an employer permission will they be able to see your links. You click this check box:!

Do I have to enter a photo of myself?

No, again this is up to you! If you do have a photo that you would like to add to your profile it let�s employers see your smiling face while they are looking at your resume. Keep in mind that your photo can be kept anonymous. When an Employer contacts you then you give them permission to see your Email, Phone, URL Links and Photo.

What do I enter in the Profile Title field?

This is the name that you assign to your profile, doesn�t have to be your first or last name. This is the name field that employers will see when they search resumes.

You can create Job Alerts as well as Project Alerts. When a new job or project hits the web site you will be alerted.

What information do I have available to me before I apply for a job?

Give Back Get Hired is FREE to post jobs, business ads or projects, which is a bargain!

What is my status if I do work on a Pro Bono basis?

You would be considered an Independent Consultant. You and your potential employer should complete an Independent Consultant agreement, which outlines the details of your assignment. The idea is that you do a great job & they hire you! This is the idea behind Give Back Get Hired!

Are there jobs that are not allowed to be posted on Give Back Get Hired?

We do not allow Multi Level Marketing or Pyramid schemes, business or job opportunities that require recruitment of other members, distributors or agents, job ads that are not clear regarding what type of work would be required, Job Ads for employment that are stating a preference or requirement based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, age or disability. We reserve the right to remove any ads that appear to belong in any of these categories.

What other types of postings does Give Back Get Hired offer?

In addition to jobs, you can also post projects to our Projects or Reverse site. Projects are your short term work assignments where people bid where you want to get the best price and you may have. Here you can even enter competitive bid requirements.

Are candidates required to enter the links to their social networking sites?

No, this is totally up to each candidate. Job seekers that have entered the links to their social networking sites are letting you preview their profiles to ensure that this is the type of person that you want to hire.

What is the cost to post jobs and projects on Give Back Get Hired?

The cost is FREE, post unlimited jobs and search unlimited resumes for FREE!

Do I have to enter my website link and logo?

No, this is totally up to you. By entering a link to your web site job seekers are able to gain knowledge about your business and what you do as a company.

What if I am a recruiter with job assignments?

That�s great! There is a drop down option when you post the job to indicate that you are a recruiter / search professional.

If I bring someone in on a Pro Bono basis, how does that work?

You and the candidate should complete and sign an Independent Consultant agreement, which details the total amount of time, the expected work to be done, etc. The big difference here is the candidate may or may not be getting compensation, that�s up to you.

What is the difference between registering as a Employer or a Business on GiveBackGetHired?

Employers represent companies that wish to hire new employees and post jobs. Registering on the business classifieds will allow you to promote your business and also create project postings.

What is the cost to advertise my business on GiveBackGetHired?

It�s FREE to promote your business, you can even create an ad in multiple categories.

Do I have to hire the person at the end of the Pro Bono period?

No, this is totally up to you! If you are happy with the candidate�s performance and they have proved their reliability, skills and abilities by working Pro Bono then you definitely should consider hiring them.

What are my obligations to the candidate at the end of the Pro Bono work period?

If the candidate has done a great job for you, then by all means, you should seriously consider hiring them, since they have worked Pro Bono to prove their skills. If they have done a great job, but you are not in a position to hire them right now, consider letting them work the same amount of hours that they worked Pro Bono, only this time provide compensation. This is only fair to the job seeker. As a minimum you should consider giving them a positive reference on their resume and/or social or professional networking site. Plus, you can refer them to other hiring managers and business owners who might be looking to hire. This is the goal of Give Back Get Hired, give back some time, prove your skills and Get Hired!

What is a Project or Reverse Auction?

A project is a temporary work assignment that needs to be done. Here on Give Back Get Hired, we use an auction in reverse, where the bids go down not up. This allows the Project Owner to get the best or lowest price!

What is the Start Project Bidding Amount?

When you create the auction, you decide what to start the bids at, bids cannot be higher than the amount you enter.

Is there are Reserve or Bottom line price?

Yes, this is the amount that you are actually willing to pay. For example, let�s say you need some construction done around your house, you set the Starting Bid Amount at $500 and you set the Bottom Line Price to $400, this is your reserve amount or the amount that you want to pay to get the work done.

Once I create a Project can I see information about the bidders.

Yes, we have a feedback system, just like other auction sites, where you can see the details about a bidder.

What additional information do I enter for my project?

Here is the additional data that you can enter for your project:
1. the target date that you would like to have the project completed by
2. the estimated hours per week
3. if the work needs to be done at your location or can be done remotely or offsite
4. required skills for the project
5. project duration
6. total estimated hours required to complete the project

Do I have to enter the Mapping Address?

Only if you require that the work be done onsite, this lets the bidders know where they would be doing the work.
